There’s a hefty chance that most of us suffer from “house pride”. What I mean by that is that when we have people over to our homes, we have a high need for the house to be clean and put together as best as possible. A blessing and a curse, ha. So as we were talking at our retreat about ideas to help y’all feel great in your homes for the holidays, Emily thought that we should put together a post of “fast delivery furniture” that will get to you before Thanksgiving. We agreed it was a great idea, so here we are! I pulled from some of our favorite retailers like Wayfair, West Elm, AllModern, etc who are known for their fast delivery. Actually, all three of those places have “fast delivery” filters to help you narrow down your search to what is really going to get to you in time. I also want to make sure this isn’t an anxiety-inducing post of “HURRY, GET YOUR HOME TOGETHER OR ELSE!” Instead, this is for those of you who have maybe been wanting to replace an old piece or need to fill a furniture gap in your home. The holidays are about quality time with the people you love. But if having a bed for your guests to sleep in will make you feel better…this post is for you.

P.S. I tried to select both new and/or items we’ve touched in person or own so that you can feel as confident as possible when ordering. Again, this is meant to be really helpful! Let’s begin.

Fast Delivery Furniture: Sofas

Sofas are such a hard one to buy without having sat your tush on its seat. Mal and I did a MASSIVE in-person review post if you are interested:) But if you are ready for a new sofa, let me show you three comfy options that will get to you quick.

Harmony Sofa | Rae Upholstered Sofa | Beta Modular Sofa

Let’s start with the Harmony Sofa from West Elm. This is a dreamy sofa that comes in a few different styles, but all are so comfy! This one above, with the wooden legs, is the most specific one, while the other are classic modulars. You can’t go wrong either way. We loved this one during our in-person review process, and Marlee found one on Facebook Marketplace and is completely obsessed. It comes in all of their fabrics and a ton of sizes, but just know that not all can ship as quickly. The green velvet sofa is the bigger version of the loveseat Emily used in her best friend’s living room. She says their family loves it and they fight over who gets to sit on it for movie night. You may recognize the Beta Modular Sofa from Kaitlin’s basement reveal! It also comes in her green and white. Another one that we can attest to how comfy it is. We also love and trust Article, so we stand behind this sofa hard (it also comes in other, bigger sizes).

P.S. Another sinkable sofa that we are pretty obsessed with is our Oscar sofa. It’s truly incredible, and if you order soon, you can get it before Thanksgiving!

Fast Delivery Furniture: Sleeper Sofas

Speaking of sofas and the holidays, sleeper sofas are a BIG need. So here are our picks!

Savelle Convertible Sofa Bed | Stillman Sleeper Sofa | Barrett II Track Arm Queen Sleeper Sofa

The first one is the one Gretchen got for her guestroom/mulitpurpose room. Here’s the deal – this isn’t going to be your everyday “sinkable” main sofa. But she’s had multiple friends sleep on it, and they all rave about its comfort! So this is a great office or guest room sofa where you’d like to be able to have an extra bed. Plus, it’s pretty cute:) The velvet sofa is from Quince and SO pretty. It’s got rave reviews, and for a sleeper, it’s a great deal. Also, I’m a sucker for a velvet sofa. Barrett II Track Arm Queen Sleeper Sofa is a beautiful, classic-looking sofa that Mal and I also tested in our review. Sleeper sofas tend to have firmer cushions since there’s a whole bed hiding under them. But when we first sat on this sofa, we LOVED how comfortable it was and then were truly shocked to find out it was a sleeper sofa. We both agreed it was the most comfortable sleeper sofa we’d ever sat on.

Fast Delivery Furniture: Accent Chairs

A lot of us have an accent chair in our living room that’s hanging on by a thread. And while this chair has been well loved, you might be ready for a new one. Accent chairs are not only excellent additional seating (duh), but if you are jonesing for a little extra style in your living room, it’s a much safer option to try that out with than, say, a sofa. Here are three we love.

Baby Barb | Jodie Wing Chair | Sven Tufted Lounge Chair

Shameless promotion, I know, but I adore our Baby Barb. It’s beautiful, has a cool but not too “out there” shape, and it’s comfortable! I will have one once I live in a house with a big enough living room. The Jodie Wing Chair is a great modern take on the classic wingback chair; I love this color and fabric too. It’s a bestseller for a reason. Lastly, the Sven Tufted Lounge Chair is one we really can stand by because we’ve used the sofa version an almost uncountable number of times, and it’s a solid, MCM, comfy one. You can’t go wrong with any of these!

Fast Delivery Furniture: Coffee Tables

It’s kinda wild the visual impact the right coffee table can have. It can make a room feel finished in a big way that was even unexpected to me when I got mine. And when you have guests over, it’s usually an important area! Snacks are eaten, drinks are set, games are played all around this piece of furniture.

Wallace Coffee Table | Adel Round Coffee Table | Kievie Burl Wood Coffee Table

The first coffee table is an ideal “gather around” coffee table with that bottom shelf. Perfect to sit around and have an out-of-the-way place to set a drink or a small plate of food without worrying if it’s going to topple over or get on the rug. The middle round beauty is modern, organic, and comes in two sizes. I love the chunkiness, and it would look great with so many different styles (also read this post about mixing chunky and leggy furniture:)). Burl wood is a luxe and beautiful wood. But it’s traditionally sold in lighter tones, so I love how this one is a little unexpected.

Fast Delivery Furniture: Entry Cabinet

I know entryways are a big pain point for people because so many of you submit them for design SOS. And I get it. It’s the first thing you and your guests see when you step into your home. So here are some fast delivery furniture – entry cabinet and table edition- we approve of!

Faydra Console | Metalwork Console | Transitional Storage Curved Cabinet

For my modern organic folk, this Faydra Console is beautiful. The curves and rounded edges are so dreamy. It’s under $350 and also comes in black. This West Elm metalwork console has been a favorite of mine for years. The 3-drawer console is traditional-looking but sleek and so cool. A real form meets function. If this one is too long, it comes in other sizes too. Now, if you want more of a classic traditional look, this wonderfully affordable entry cabinet can really hide any visual clutter while adding a lot of style to your home.

Fast Delivery Furniture: Dining Table

Ok, this is the big one if we’re talking about the holidays. Having a large enough dining table when you are hosting is pretty important, so here are our picks:)

Solid Wood Trestle Dining Table | Lakin Teak Wood Round Extendable Dining Table | Reclaimed Oak Parsons Dining Table

Arlyn just wrote an “affordable dining tables that look expensive” post, and of course it’s incredible. Not all of them are guaranteed to get to you in time, but a lot are, so check it out. This first one is from that post, and it’s so beautiful! It has the look of a modern heirloom and will set 6. The round one is extendable (a real holiday time MVP) and comes in 4 different sizes. I love the mixed materials and the look of that beautiful teak wood. A Parsons table will always be in style, and this last one is no different. The shape is modern, but the wood has a lot of soul.

Fast Delivery Furniture: Dining Chairs

What’s a dining table without great dining chairs? Emily is a big upholstered dining chair fan with a curved back, but here are our picks with a variety of options and styles.

Munk Velvet Dining Chair | Pali Black Hardwood Dining Chair | Mid-Century Modern Solid Wood Dining Chair

The moment I saw that green upholstered velvet dining chair from Article, I was in love. The style is incredible, and the reviews are great (saying they are comfy!). What more can you ask for? Well, understandably, fabric dining chairs can freak people out when they think of the potential stains from food mess (velvet is actually not hard to clean, FYI), but a great, classic wood chair is a no-fail choice. I love the rounded back and simple spindles of the second one. Plus, if you want more seat comfort, you can always add removable cushions. The MCM dining chair is a mix of both! A beautiful wood frame with a fabric leather seat that’s very easy to clean. Elegant but modern.

Fast Delivery Furniture: Sideboards

Ok, so maybe you have your dining table and chairs, but you really need some storage for all your dinnerware. There are so, so many different styles and sizes, but these are our “fast furniture delivery” options we are excited about.

Ellington Buffet | Mysen Glass Cabinet | Sideboard Cabinet

A real classic with a fun texture! The black sideboard/buffet is a super versatile piece with drawers and cabinets. It’s chic but not stuffy. If I had the need for a dining room storage cabinet, it would be this tall glass one. It has both open and closed storage, and the style is modern heirloom. I think it’s so beautiful. The third piece is a modern beaut. It’s under $250, is easily added to if you need more length, and it comes in two other colors. The simple framed rectangles are so good!

Fast Delivery Furniture: Beds

Preparing for out-of-town guests usually means you need a bed for at least some of them to sleep on. Here are some fast delivery furniture beds we’d choose.

Ariona Scandinavian Solid Wood Platform Bed | Linen Wingback Bed | Kayra Upholstered Bed

A simple but not boring spindle bed is never a bad call. This one is solid wood, has a modern feel, and is just over $500. The classic-looking Wingback bed is another no-fail buy. Stylistically, it’s so versatile, and Mal and I saw this bed in person, and we loved it so much. It comes in other colors, but those won’t all get to you in time, so double-check when you are ordering. The last bed is a modern take on a Wingback. I love the bulbous curves and ginger-toned velvet color. If I were a guest and saw that this was the bed I was sleeping in, my jaw would be on the floor.

Fast Delivery Furniture: Nightstands

As someone who didn’t have a proper nightstand for years (long story and too many reasons to waste a breath on), a nightstand is very important if you can get one. It sounds silly, but you don’t know how valuable it is until you go without one. For a guest room, drawers aren’t as important, but they are so nice to have. Here are three that are great!

Cassie 2-Drawer Nightstand | Nori 2-Drawer Nightstand | Mackenzie Solid Wood Nightstand

You want simple, classic, and versatile? The first nightstand is it! It has an open cubby and two drawers. The micro knobs are my favorite, and it comes in a darker tone if that’s more your style. For a truly modern option, the curved edge cutie is great. It still has that great wood grain visible for some beautiful texture. Man, I love a simple wood carved detail, and this last one has such a great version! It looks handmade, special, and not like a lot of others on the market.

Fast Delivery Furniture: Dressers

Especially if your guests are planning to stay for a minute, it’s so nice for them to have a dresser to unpack their stuff into. And hey, you can even likely use a bottom drawer or two for you year-round!

Faydra 6-Drawer Double Dresser | Greeta 3 Drawer Dresser | Siobhan Oak 6-Drawer Dresser

Like the console table towards the beginning, this first dresser is from that curved side frame. Because of the wood grain, it feels perfectly modern and organic, and the wood and wood handles with frame are perfect. The second and smaller one is such a cute, more traditional piece. The carved side detailing is amazing, and it’s under $250, coming in two other color options. I really love this final dresser. It’s the definition of “special but simple”. It’s stunning, and the hardware is chic, chic, chic. 10/10!

That concludes today’s hopefully helpful post and gets you excited, not more stress about holiday prepping. A home doesn’t come together overnight, but it can be made better quick with fast delivery furniture 🙂
