Hello there! Your friendly neighborhood blogger is here and reporting for duty. Every year, we work to bring you the best Cyber Monday sale list on the internet – and this year, I’d like to think we nailed it! Below, you’ll find our new, easier-to-use sales guide. We’re walking you through the best discounts this weekend on everything from appliances and furniture to dresses and boots – we’re talking upwards of 40-70% off here! – so if you’re looking to save some cash, you’re in the right spot.

I’m a dedicated reader of your blog and really appreciate the perspective and personality you bring to your work. I wanted to share some feedback regarding brand partnerships:
I’d like to kindly ask whether you could avoid promoting Skims or other Kardashian-owned companies. These brands don’t align with my values, and I prefer to support creators who highlight companies that prioritize ethical labor practices and sustainability. I completely understand that brand partnerships help support your work, so no pressure; I’m just hoping to offer my perspective as part of your audience.
I’m a long-time reader and so appreciate both your deep knowledge of design and your care for vulnerable populations. Here’s my request to participate in the Thanksgiving weekend (and beyond!) boycott of three companies that support Trump’s attacks on our neighbors and families:
TARGET caved to MAGA backlash by pulling Pride merch off the shelves, and canceled DEI programs that support Black workers and businesses.
HOME DEPOT enables ICE terrorism by allowing Trump’s thugs to violently detain and kidnap workers on its properties.
AMAZON provides technology to power ICE deportations while Jeff Bezos spends a fortune kissing up to Trump — funding both his MAGA agenda and vanity projects like his ballroom. And Bezos also owns the Washington Post newspaper, which he prevents from honestly reporting Trump’s crimes.
As Indivisible says:
These aren’t the only companies complicit in Trump’s attacks on democracy — far from it! — but economic pressure is most effective when it’s concentrated and easy to join in on. We’re focusing our fire on three ubiquitous brands that are among the biggest corporations trying to profit by enabling Trump.
Many thanks for your support of our democracy, safety and families on this holiday of connection and gratitude.
No thanks, not interested in your boycott. I hate Trump but love and shop Target and will still shop at Home Depot and Amazon.
The boycott is for this BFCM holiday weekend. Five days. That was long enough to pressure Hulu and Disney, and get Jimmy Kimmel back on the air. Group action works. Hope you’ll join us in working for a safe and honest government.
I’m sorry, this is so juvenile. Can you reach the ground from your high horse? You’re equivocating Black Friday with Jimmy Kimmel? Get a grip. This isn’t how business works.
I’m on your side of the aisle but geez, I can see why we alienate people. You ever try not giving a lecture? You enjoy talking down to everyone?
IT SALES. DURING A RECESSION. COOL IT. A purchase from Target doesn’t make you the SS. I can’t stand this “if you don’t behave exactly as I do and shop exactly as I do, you’re a bad person” language. It’s great some of you can stretch! Most of us can’t! And we don’t need rich people giving us lectures about it. You want us to shop at Walmart, a far worse brand with a far worse record, instead? Do you even hear yourself, or are you too busy patting yourself on the back?
I totally get that affordability and convenience matter so much as we’re all struggling to keep our heads above water. I’m asking myself to stretch just a little for this boycott so that my neighbors don’t get deported and beaten.
100% behind this comment and grateful that it is allowed to be posted. Our country is in trouble and we need to do what we can to help save it.
I love this country and trump!
Thank you for reminding EHD of the boycotts! I’m a longtime reader as well and I was really surprised not to see at least a mention of them. I know Emily’s got a tight relationship with Target, but if nothing else the team could have left off Amazon and put an asterisk next to the Target list recognizing the context and explaining their reasoning.
Target recently laid off 1800 corporate employees, people who almost certainly 1000% support your beliefs. Now they have no jobs, living in an area where there aren’t a lot of employers. Congrats!
target is my favorite store!
Thank you for sharing. Boycotts are a long standing tool of protest, and I’m not sure why people are responding as though you personally invented the concept and are trying to topple the economy. Unfortunately, economic pressure is what companies respond to (would be great if they cared about other things than money!), and if we think they’re being harmful, not shopping there is one of the main options we have as individuals to express that opinion.
This is the boycott the NAACP is advocating for with huge support from black churches……neither group has historically done anything for LGBTQ people or for women’s rights to abortion. So it’s really not QUITE as black-and-white as you seem to think it is……
What an amazing roundup—thank you for putting this together so early! I’ve been trying to plan my Black Friday shopping without feeling overwhelmed, and this list really helped me narrow things down. I already spotted a few great deals from Brooklinen and CB2, and now I’m tempted to check out even more.
Can’t wait to see your updates throughout the week. This is definitely bookmarked!
I have and love the food52 apron. I have SEVERAL aprons and only seem to use this one.
This is SO GOOD!!! I love the updated format!
I’ve had the Sansur Rustic Pecan Live Edge Wood Coffee Table from World Market for nearly six years, and I still love this piece, so I’m happy you included it in this list!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for the sales list and the other helpful gift guides we have been enjoying. It is such fun to see what you find. Some of the companies may have policies that make me “Grrr” so I just don’t shop those, and look for similar items elsewhere. Sometimes, I see new items that inspire me to recycle something I already have. Thank you, too for allowing the comments of those who remind us of strong reasons to evaluate where our $$ are going.
I just received the larger Oscar sofa from Wayfair. I’m so impressed, the look and quality is fantastic, the material is so soft. My husband found it very comfortable to sit on, I’m a lounger and always go for a bench cushion when purchasing a sofa. The style of this sofa suits my vintage/midcentury vibe. Emily, you should be so proud of this collection.
Thank you! I’ve been waiting for a real review on this beautiful sofa.
Being able to click on the photos and link to the item is amazing!!
