Mallory’s Homey Yet Elevated Living Room

This past fall, Mallory was very ready to finally give her living room the makeover she and her roommate had been dreaming of. This room was a long, white box that lacked any real personality. As you can see from this photo above, that was quickly remedied. She was able to find really beautiful pieces that felt collected and textured.

It really is the perfect mix of inviting, cozy, and chic. I really do just love the mix of textures – corduroy, linen, leather, fringe, ruffles, stone, metal. The gang’s all here, and I don’t want to stop staring at it! What I do remember about the process of this design was how quickly it came together. Both Mallory had a very easy time finding pieces she loved, and then, once the order was placed, everything got there so fast. Ready for another Mallory makeover??

Mallory’s Parents’ “No More Sad Gray” Living Room

Ah, our most recent reveal! Mallory’s parents have a laundry list of incredible talents, but in their own words, home decor isn’t really one of them. Mallory, being the amazing daughter and designer that she is, knew that with a little help from AllModern, this one “50 Shades of Actual Gray” living room could sing. As you can clearly see, it’s a symphony!

Between those gorgeous walnut credenzas, the storage coffee table (yes, it has a big drawer!), and the rug, this once grayed-out room feels so happy and welcoming. It’s still in a calm, neutral color palette that her parents love, but sooooo much better.

The Guest Bedroom We ALL Were Drooling Over

Ah, the guest room heard around the world:) My jaw DROPPED when I saw these photos come through. And aside from a few things, it’s alllll AllModern (the bedding too!). My cousin was in town a month or so after this reveal went up, and she said she was modeling her primary bedroom after it.

Not sure if I can choose a favorite piece, but it might be that stunning camel colored bed. So elevated, so versatile, and the slight curve is perfectly subtle, making it unique but not loud.

But then again, how good is that table lamp + MCM nightstand combo? There’s just nothing I don’t love about this room, and it wouldn’t be possible without the options at AllModern.

Gretchen’s Guest Bedroom Switch Up

design by gretchen raguse | photo by kaitlin green | from: gretchen’s guest room reveal

This makeover was such a fun one because this used to be Gretchen’s primary bedroom until she decided she wanted to move into the larger second room in her place (it was once her office/craft room, but ended up being more of a storage space than anything functional). ANYWAY. She wanted this incredibly fun and creative room to be both a guest room and a potential office space.

A sleeper sofa was the perfect piece to make this plan a reality! This one she found at AllModern was exactly what she was hoping for. It’s a great sofa for everyday, but then it turns into a great bed. She tried it herself and can confirm its comfort.

But let’s talk about this sideboard! Beautiful, modern, warm, and has a ton of shelves for storage. This makes more sense than a dresser because Gretch can use it for her extra things instead of having a bunch of drawers for a guest that will likely only be there a few days. Also, how cool is that chrome side table and mirror!? They perfectly contrast the floral wallpaper in the best way.

A Tween Bedroom To Grow With

photo by kaitlin green | from: river house tween bedroom reveal

Emily’s niece is one lucky gal! I’m sure most of us would have given almost anything to have a room this cool when we were tweens (or even now). But naturally, as a parent (or designer aunt), you want to create a space that your tween can grow with, and when they leave the house, you don’t feel like you need to change it all to make it more of an adult guest room. AllModern pieces are perfect for this because, like I’ve already said a bunch, their pieces are really high quality and made to last.

As shown through this post, we have had enough experience with their products to stand firmly by this. Plus, look how pretty and sleek everything is! Timeless.

And don’t sleep on their bedding! Well, wait, most definitely sleep on their bedding because it’s so great. How fun are all these colors, patterns, and materials together?

I had to show this side of the room because that mirror and side table are so beautiful. They feel special but also so incredibly versatile and are perfect for a guest room if that’s what this room is meant to be one day:)

Kaitlin’s “No More ’90s” Modern Primary Bathroom

Did you know you can get pieces like bathroom vanities, toilets, and beautiful plumbing fixtures (yes, I’m talking about the shower kit!)? Yep! And Kaitlin got to take full advantage of this with her primary bathroom and her daughters’/guest bathroom.

It’s such a wonderful modern (yet organic) vanity that perfectly elevates the space. Everyone should treat AllModern as a one-stop shop because it is.

A Playful Kids/Guest Bathroom

And here is the other bathroom. What A DREAM it would have been to grow up with a bathroom like this. That vanity is beautiful, has a ton of texture, and has great storage (important as kids get into their teens down the road). If you’re wondering where that extremely cool mirror and lovely faucet are from…you guessed it, AllModern!

A Farmhouse Outdoor Dream Hang Area

Let’s head outside as it’s now the time to start planning for your outdoor space (so you don’t get caught off guard when the weather is already melting your whole family:))

Emily decided a couple of years ago to add this very wonderful “outdoor living room.” As you probably know, the Hendersons LOVE to throw a party and do it often, so the more seating, the better. AllModern simply had everything they could have wanted, and it turned out so special.

I mean, LOOK AT IT! It’s gotten a ton of use, and everyone loves it.

The River House’s Kitchen Patio We All Want

Another wonderful outdoor AllModern space, but this time it’s at the river house. This kitchen patio is cozier than most indoor living rooms I’ve been in. It’s modern, a little moody, super textured. Plus, those swinging egg chairs are cool AND playful!

The dining area is just as awesome. I am personally the biggest fan of these S chairs, but instead of a natural woven fiber that they are often in, these are incredibly easy to wipe and/or hose down for fast cleaning.

These stools are another home run. The materials are so pretty, and I love that lower back. Chic but inviting.

Keeping in the land of chairs, how good are these dining chairs!? A great color and material for being comfortable, but not worrying about stains. Plus, in case you don’t know Emily’s rules (aka preferences) for dining chairs, they must be upholstered (check), have a curved back (check), and be comfortable for long, fun dinners (check!).

Finally, I had to give a large shout-out to this rust colored loveseat. In case you missed this reveal, it’s one of Emily’s best friends’ living rooms. It’s full of beautiful colors, textures, shapes, and in general, is a warm, inviting space. But the real hero is that loveseat. Her friends have deemed it the most comfortable place in the house to sit.

So hopefully, you’ve been thoroughly convinced (if you weren’t already) that AllModern gives you a one-stop shop to create a home with pieces that are as beautiful as they are high-quality. These are forever pieces that you can get shipped to your home fast. If you are in the market for something for your home, go check out AllModern’s President’s Day sale (again, up to 60% off). It starts today and goes to 2/17. You won’t be sorry.
