Hello, friends! How was your week? Our team had a GREAT shoot on Wednesday – can’t wait to show you the reveal! – and we closed out the week with a delicious outdoor lunch where we gorged ourselves on so many fries and sweet potatoes that we were all unable to make dents in our actual meals. We also had the best time pulling together our April Fools post, so catch up here in case you missed it! Let’s get to some links though, yeah?
This week’s house tour comes from Atelier Davis – it’s a historic Eichler home that’s been renovated and styled in such a fun, eclectic way. A few things I’d like you to take note of (in order, obviously): the round daybed under those incredible skylights; the incredible symmetry in the living room (who woulda thought English roll arm sofas would look so at home in a mid-century masterpiece?); the light fixture in the dining room; the bright yellow oven; the unbelievable sofa base on top of that broken stripe rug; the masterfully styled eclectic bedroom (that carpet looks GREAT, right?); the STUNNING bathroom color palette (with Katie Gong knots above the tub!); the punchy red-orange hardware against that sky blue vanity; AND the awesome use of unexpected wallpaper patterns. You can follow Jessica Davis on IG here and read more about the space with an Elle Decor subscription right here.
Happy Independent Artists Day! You can take 15% off site-wide at Minted (and 25% off save the dates, for all you folks getting married!) through tomorrow, 4/4, with code FIFTEEN. Check out our favorite picks from the sale here! (And be sure to check out the pieces we’ve used in Bowser’s guest room, Em’s family room, Jess’ living room, Erik’s bedroom, Caitlin’s hallway, and in the iconic Parisian-style hotel suite that Emily designed for a little extra inspiration.)
From Jess: I finally got my first matching set and I can’t tell you how much I love it! I know we’ve talked about the Abercrombie & Fitch comeback but I am even more of a believer now. It’s blue and linen and CUTE. Here is the top and here are the wide leg pants (YEP! I loooove a wide leg look). Huge fan!
From Mallory: I just bought this dress for an event and it’s PERFECT. Made me feel so classy and for only $90 (which is not horrible for a fancy dress IMHO). If you have any weddings coming up, I HIGHLY recommend adding to cart. I got it in black but they have a bunch of colors.
Exciting collaboration alert: TOV Furniture partnered with Carmeon Hamilton, Nicole White, Don Ricardo Massenburg, Justin Q. Williams, Erika Ward, and Nile Johnson on an AWESOME new collection. We’re especially enamored with this four-poster bed and this organic modern credenza. The prices on all of the pieces are great, too.
One more! Dabito partnered with Mitzi on a fun, fresh new lighting collection. Out of the twelve pieces he created, which is your favorite?
From Ryann: I used to swear by the Dr. Jart Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment and I do still think it’s a great product that works really well to reduce redness. But at $52 a pop, it’s an investment (even though the bottle lasts a long time). Luckily, I recently found a VERY good alternative that is only $12!! It’s very gentle on your skin and is all the good things like cruelty-free and vegan-friendly. It’s my favorite beauty product at the moment which is saying a lot!
From Caitlin: I’ve been on the hunt for an affordable minimalist drink table for a while (read: over a year) and I FINALLY FOUND ONE! It’s only $59 (and it’s technically marketed as a plant stand) but the shape and proportions are SO good. It comes in 2 different heights and 4 different colors in case you, too, have also been on the hunt for a piece with a smaller, lighter profile. It’s perfect for a tinier nook or niche in your home (or if you just don’t have room for a full end table between a pair of armchairs, which was my problem). Hooray!
Also from Caitlin: I was obsessed with this piece in The Atlantic this week, which was succinctly and aptly titled “Why Are People Acting So Weird?” (There’s something in the air, y’all.) And while you’re there, this piece about Saturn’s rings disappearing (!!!) is fascinating.
One more from Caitlin because the team put me in charge of this post for the first time ever and I’m a monster who can’t stop oversharing: There’s 40% off select pieces (but like, actual good ones) at Madewell right now with the code YESPLS. Just looking out for my pals!!!
BOY. That’s it for Team EHD today, but this week’s calendar is STACKED. We’ll see you back here tomorrow for an amazing reveal (the first of SEVERAL this week! Can you believe?). Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, pals. xx

I’m much more of a traditionalist, but that Eichler home!?!?!? I would move right in.
Caitlin overshare?? Noooo! (takes one to know one @me!!)🤣🤣
That house tour is, well, certainly, eclectic!
Ha! Western Australian Yellow Kangaroo Paws on the aqua side table in the house tour!!!
I’m constantly amazed by the inclusion of Australian flora in sooooo mamy US photo shoots!
Eucalyptus? Yep, Australian. 😍
Looking forward to aforementioned REVEALS!!!!😀
Well Rusty, Australia does have the BEST flora on the planet! This from an American who has never been to Australia but follows several Australian artists who post the most amazing flora on their feeds!
I love Aussie glora and fauna!
A lot of them look so alien to the northern hemisphere ‘eye’. Particularly the flowers.
It makes me pause each time I see Aussie flora in US homes.
I actually wouldn’t be surprised if most Californians think Eucalyptus is an indigenous species there!
Hi Rusty, I’m in Southern California and have yellow Kangaroo Paws in my yard (love them), I had no idea Eucalyptus wasn’t indigenous! Haha! Walking through the local nursery, so, so many plants are labeled “Native to Australia.”
LOL 🤣 I know, right?!
Kangaroo Paws are actually from Western Australia, where I live, and the yellow is a special hybrid. The original species is red, Enjoy! 😍
I loved the post you did when the team shared your their thoughts on a home featured in architectural digest (I think). I crave it every week when you have a home in your Sunday links. E.g., Would really like to know peoples’ thoughts on the side “room” with a chair in the master bedroom. I want to love it. But I also don’t understand it. Hmmm
Hello, I’ve been reading articles on this website and they have been very informative. I have been trying to improve my website as well. Please visit my website and help me with your valuable feedback.
Any information on the bedroom carpet of the house tour? I’ve seen it before and it’s so gorgeous.
Oh Yay!!!! thanks again for featuring another one of my projects. It’s a HUGE complement. And love that you saw the Katie Gong knot. I love her and discovered her through your blog! Ended up using her in my own home that you featured and she and I are working on a hardware collaboration
