Happy Holidays from the Hendersons

Well folks, its been quite a year and moreover quite the month. That pic was taken 18 hours before I gave birth and it just represents the beginnings of our family and how happy I hope we are going to be. So, this is us signing off for the holidays. I’ll be back in January with lots of house redo posts (I’ve been reading your comments like ‘whats happening with your house?????‘). I’ll be blogging about it room by room including before photos, mood boards, layout options, color boards, furniture choices, … everything. I’m basically making myself my dream/nightmare client and you guys are going to witness every decision or indecision. So get ready.

A quick thank you so much to everyone who stops by every day to read, comment and share. You have no idea how much I appreciate it and it keeps me doing this every day. I get asked all the time if I still love blogging and the answer is truly YES, but there are days that I wouldn’t be as motivated if nobody read it. You fuel my desire, creativity and motivation to spend hours a day here. You make it rewarding and worthwhile. So thank you very, very , very much.

Until January 1st i’ll be hanging out with two pretty cute dudes named Brian and Charlie and two cats named Bearcat and General Meow, doing practically nothing except having the happiest of holidays ever.

Peace out. xx

Happy holidays to you and your family! I LOVE reading your blog and can’t wait to see what is in store for 2014:)

  2. Good luck with your resolutions. Being a new Mom is both the most amazing and most overwhelming feeling in the world. My twin boys are 15 months and I’m still wondering “when did this happen?!?”. I think having a day that is just for family is a great idea and an even better idea is giving each other a night. My hubby and I try to give each other at least three hours per weekend day. I tend to take the mornings through first nap and he takes the middle of the day from first nap to second nap and then we wrap up the day together. Although sometimes we cheat because we miss each other or the boys it is a great refresher.
