Dear Emily’s Readers, OK, I don’t know about you, but I have a thing for mountains. Artsy mountains, that is -- I certainly have no plans to climb a real one, but hang a few on my wall? YES! Here are four artists that have #MOUNTAINS of talent, and #MOUNTAINS of gorgeous, affordable work just for you:

Layers and layers of paper and found images make up these beautiful collages by Canadian artist Becky Comber. Go and have a look at her Etsy shop -- it is FULL of gorgeous, mountainy things!

Sigh. Clouds? Mountains? Volcanoes?! Hm, maybe a little bit of each. I crazy love these paintings by UK artist Georgina Vinsun -- the colors, the brushwork, AND, the best part ... all of them are named after women. Love! I’d like to introduce you to Jessie, Tina, Nadia, and Jerry. Aren’t they pretty? (P.S. Originals start at only $145, with prints starting at $60. Go see if you can find your name!)

Do you have a zillion photos from road trips through the country side, and you don’t know what to do with them? Well, Brooklyn based artist Liesl Pfeffer knows exactly what to do! She chops them up and assembles them into her own, brand new, crisply sharp, mountain ranges. Prints of these pointy masterpieces are under $100 and available in her online shop, which you can find right here.

Oh my goodness. I don’t know which I love more -- the collaged mountains, or the white rivers made from the negative space between the collaged mountains! This is the work of Spanish artist Raúl Lázaro, and a little bird just told me that his once empty Etsy shop now has prints of this work starting at only $35. QUICK -- get over there before it’s empty again! Alrighty. I’d love to tell you that I’m heading out to climb a real mountain now, but that will never ever ever happen (I have a few major issues with heights), so instead, I’ll just go find some more work for my next post!
