Oh friends. This is a HUGE giveaway today. You know I don’t normally do or enter giveaways probably because either I don’t normally want the item bad enough or I want it really bad but so do thousands of other people and not winning bums me out.
But even I want this giveaway because what you’ll win is a full art wall curated 100% by me from Artfully Walls (a new online art site).
I’m usually pretty skeptical about online art because there is just a lot of really bad art these days (and, sure, lots of good art, too). As I shopped their site I found myself ‘favoriting’ more and more pieces. Soon enough I was like, yeah… we should do something.
So they asked me to curate 1 gallery wall, but I couldn’t stop and I curated 4 different collections of art – I picked each piece from the hundreds that they have on the site. Then I chose the size of them, how each should be framed (white, wood, black? with matte?), and arranged them on a mood board together so you know exactly how I would hang them. One of you will get your choice of one of these collections – ALL FRAMED. They are all around a $900 value which is A LOT of dough to save during the holidays.
Here they are:
1. The ‘I’m really happy but not super loud’ collection. You like a lot of color, but still have some restraint. You enjoy a classic landscape but like to edge it up with an abstract … and a gorilla.
Resources: 1. | 2. | 3. | 4. | 5.
2. The ‘I’m pretty eclectic and totally well composed’ collection. Five different mediums in 1 gallery wall = a VERY good wall. You’ll look instantly interesting, I promise.
Resources: 1. | 2. | 3. | 4. | 5.
3. The ‘I’m wild and crazy but still cohesive’ collection. This one is a little more young at heart with pops of neon and a lot of whimsy. This person probably drinks skinny margaritas in the winter and has a sarcastic sense of humor.
Resources 1. | 2. | 3. | 4. | 5. | 6.
4. The ‘I’m pretty sophisticated and more masculine but still with an edge’ collection. Not everyone can handle the color above, so I wanted to do one collection that feels a little more calm and muted. This person still is still really cool, though – they are just less inclined towards neon. They probably read the New Yorker and watch (and understand) Terrence Malick films … but in an unpretentious way.

I actually want all of them for different rooms. Man, how that would make my life easier right now as i’m moving into this empty house.
How to enter:
You have to go to the Artfully walls facebook page and ‘like them’, then come back and comment that you did and put your favorite collection in the comment (you can change your choice if you win, i’m just curious if there is on that is the obvious favorite). You’ll be entered in a random drawing (PLEASE LEAVE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS … I don’t do anything with it, but it bums me out when I can’t contact a winner and have to do a backup winner).
The winner of this intensely fantastic art wall giveaway will be announced (and contacted) December 3rd.
And for those of you who just want to learn more about how to create an art wall, watch my video HERE, or see Joanna’s art wall HERE, Joy’s studio art wall HERE, or the bungalow makeover art wall HERE, or the studio city master bedroom art wall HERE. That is a lot of art walls options to stare at, I know. 🙂
Good luck, friends!!!
