  39. Julie

OH MY GAWWWD! WANT TO WIN!

I'd pair it with that Henry Sofa in a yummy navy velvet and toss in a few Chester Tufted leather chairs… probably in pewter… and then I'd round it all out with that sexy ion glass coffee table (or maybe the carved wood coffee table… argh! can't decide) and slap up about a million of the mother of pearl frames on the wall. Then I'd have everyone over for cocktails (lots) so they can be jeal of my new rug.

Also, question… I can tweet the giveaway but my twitter is set to private and I don't think you follow me, so will my extra entry still count? Basically I had to make my twitter private because my company CEO started following me on twitter and I don't think he really needed/wanted to know about my thoughts on things like Jersey Shore, face cream that doesn't make me break out, and my amazement that the "self clean" feature on my oven really works.

  102. Liz

I'd put it in a bedroom and top with the Ellipse Metal Canopy Bed. Then there would be tassels involved. Huge one from a doorknob or individual tassels hanging in each oval of the headboard. This rug needs tassels.

  103. Jessica Ray

I've gotta be dreaming! No, seriously, I literally dreamt about this rug last night! I'd put this beauty under the slide media collection, my own grey sofa, and the essex tufted bench…. mmmmm :)

I'd pair it with the Morocco Headboard in my guest bedroom!

  113. Meg

I live in a teeny-tiny studio in Manhattan and this rug would do a beautiful job of pulling together a new decoration project I'm working on. I'd use it to anchor my bed and pull in my "living space" since the size is just right and the color is so gorgeous. A neutral bed area will be brought to live with this rug and the Scroll Headboard in Natural. The deep yellow rug patterns would tie in nicely with the edged work on the headboard. Seeping into the living area the rug would provide a beautiful base for the Elton Settee partnered with a Modern Windsor Accent Chair (with a bold pattern cushion) and the lovely bold Essex Dhurrie Ottoman. Color, texture, shape – check!

I find it so hard to incorporate yellow into my house without it looking tacky but this rug would do the trick. To go with it, I would love one of WE's amazing lamps… I'm torn between the Glass Jug table lamp and the less-practical but more awesome Stray Dog table lamp. The andalucia rug would sophisticate a library office in a fairy godmother snap, only to be complimented by the W.E. chester tufted leather sofa in pewter. Don't forget to add the everett upholstered chair for texture and to accommodate long hours of reading. Be daring and accent using unsuspecting black with the martini side table and round mango wood mirror. That's how you score an A in high class.

  167. i've been looking at this exact rug to incorporate into my (brand new! just moved!) living room >> [http://tiny.cc/8htu0] …anything to detract from my overly huge sectional… ugh. if i had a million dollars, i'd re-do the whole room from scratch. if i could only shop at westelm, this is what i'd do: blake sectional [http://tiny.cc/wmanc] in granite microfiber, Indus. coffee table [http://tiny.cc/7xz9t], Alum. Wood sidetable [http://tiny.cc/xbjhv], Sweep leather armchair [http://tiny.cc/q79lp] in honey -OR- Ellery chair [http://tiny.cc/v0t45] in steel blue, i'd change the pendant light to a Woven Veneer pendant [http://tiny.cc/7trrg], get some new throw pillows: [http://tiny.cc/eg7bc, http://tiny.cc/rysly, http://tiny.cc/wg31a, http://tiny.cc/wnwa3, http://tiny.cc/u13ri and paint the walls to a lighter version of BM Galveston Gray [http://tiny.cc/cn61c]… maybe incorporate a chevron pattern for one wall(?) I'd love to put the new carved wood coffee table on that pretty rug. And the Ellery or Everett chairs in 'Lagoon' !

  306. Sherry

I love this rug…I would pair it with the CHESTER sofa and chair (leather in the Pewter and add the X base coffe table and maybe one of the martini side tables. Then put some touches of that grogeous warm yellow, pewter (darker tone). It would look awesome in my great room
    Thanks

  307. I would totally put two Leather Slipper Chairs (in Elephant) with this rug. I love me some yellow and grey. And I would add the Y-Base Coffee table to boot.

  308. Kalan

I would love this rug in the new nursery! I think it would look amazing with the Everett Kantha chair. The texture and indigo blue color of the chair with the yellow rug would be so pretty.

  309. Liz H

I would put this rug under the Round Dining Table with Cutout Legs used as a kitchen table with a pair of Chester Tufted Leather chairs in gray (the chairs would have to be somewhat raised to be at the proper height for the table). The third chair would be a Klismos Dining Chairs in chocolate. The table would be under a low-hanging trio of Glass Jar Pendants.

  310. elizabeth

I would pair it with the walton sectional and the industrial coffee table. LOVE that rug… I want it!

  311. Kelly

I would use the 5×8 size in our foyer, and then add a few of the Portico Mirrors with their beautiful antique brass finish to play off the tone of the Rug. And since you can see our Living Room from the Foyer, I would add one of the Lourdes Sanches Bull's Eye Pillows in Meadow to the space to help tie the two areas together via color.

  312. Irma Bookman

I would absolutley pair it with the Clark sofa!

  313. Stasha Switzer

I would pair that beaut with the glass jug lamp! Love the rug! Thanks for doing the fabulous giveaway!

  314. Courtney

Gah, the very rug I've been lusting after! I'd absolutely do a dining room with it. The Dover Dining Table (just love the spindly midcentury legs, and the glass would let the rug do the talking) and Twisted Weave Dining Chairs. I like the idea of hanging a cluster of three Woven Abaca Pendants at different heights like a trio of paper lanterns, just with more texture. Add the Dumont Buffet, with a Raffia Tray for barware, the Metal Birds and Wooden Spheres, and a leaning framed typograph 5 print. And Phalaenopsis orchids.

  315. Rachel

I'd love it in my studio apartment with the Sutton Sofette!

  316. Shannon Kline

I LOVE this rug! I'd pair it with the Henry Sectional, in dove grey. :)

  319. C.R.A.F.T.

Maybe a mirrored side table and textured pillows :)

  320. AliceH

I've loved their overarching floor lamp for a long time now – I think it would work with that great rug really well. And even if it didn't I wouldn't care because I love both of them! Thanks for the great giveaway!

  321. Gwen

I would definitely add the tulip chair to this rug. In fact, now I want this combo so bad i can't imagine my living room any other way.

  322. Lauren

I want this so bad for my living room! It would look great with the grey henry couch or the allegra hicks oliver chair and some harbor rope pillow covers in blue.

  340. Daisy

I pretty much love this rug! The print is perfect! Although I'd absolutely love to have this for my home I'd love it for my mom's home. She tell me she needs to spice things up a bit, but has no clue what do to. This rug totally sutes her personality and I'd recommend it with the Pleated-Shade Floor Lamp on one side with a tiny side table fit for a couple of books near it, then place the Carved Wood Coffee Table in front of this navey blue tuffed couch and wing back chair that I just found at a thrift store, and finish it off with the Bubbles Ceramic Side Table on either side of the couch. My mom would freak over that rug! =D

  341. I absolutely LOVE this rug and basically everything at West Elm. I would love to see this rug with so many things, but I think a yellow navy and dove gray combination would be fab in our guest bedroom! So I would love to see it with the Tall Grid Tufted Headboard in lagoon!! Actually this is very inspiring and I'm off to make a mood board of it now!

  342. Sms

    Ellery chair

  343. Sandy

I would love to use that rug to go with the Chester Tufted Leather Sofa, another West Elm piece I'm currently coveting on a daily basis. This would make my apartment absolutely a dream

  344. Annie H.

This rug is chic and a perfect compliment to a wide range of design possibilities. While I do think the Ellery chair would be a perfect partner, a pair of the modern windsor accent chairs with the elton settee would be an interesting pair!

  345. Stephen

My living room includes a dining space so I would put this under my round dining table. It would complement my living room rug and pair well with the Toasted Pine Nut wall color and brown wood table/chairs. I could then find reupholster the chair seats in a coordinating ivory-colored pattern and find some great sconces to speak to the pattern shape in this rug.

  346. Ellie B

This rug, the Henry Sofa a cup of coffee and the morning paper….Yes, that would complete me!

  347. Marcie

  353. Karla

I'd love to put this rug in my bedroom and I'd pair it with the grid tufted headboard in the lagoon performance velvet.

  354. Eileen

Sofa, sofa, sofa. I would add a simple sofa, like the Henry, in an off-white. Plus maybe a pouf or an ottoman … like the Essex Kantha ottoman in patchwork. It's such a gorgeous rug!

  355. Martha

I love this rug and would pair it with the Sutton Sofette!

  356. Kat

I love the rug! I'd pair it with some new pillows for my living room.

I would love pairing it with the Tulip Leather Chair in Elephant. Great giveaway, thanks!

I would place it under the Elton Settee in Lagoon. Swoon!

  360. this rug would be beyond perfect for my new apartment, I'm moving out into my first one after this summer and as a recent college graduate, my funds are limited, this rug would be an awesome addition! 362. Michelle

    Lorimer sofa :)

  363. Yvette

I am a HUGE fan of West Elm — I must visit their website at least once every couple of days. I actually bought a small Empire kilim rug from them not too long ago. To go with this rug, though… I've had my eye on the marble Y-side table, and I think it could work with this non-western pattern in a sort of colonial way. Also, I think the raw edge coffee table would be lovely: the rich tones of the wood would pop against the yellow, and you've got to love the authentic and organic look of that table.

  364. the spencer dining table or the carved wood coffee table. love west elm, and this rug!

  365. amy h

I've been wanting that rug for my gray and white family room! I'd pair it with the Elton Settee in dove gray.

  366. Kimberly

I love this rug! I would put it in our living room with a tulip upholstered chair in dove gray. Perfect for a good book!

  367. Mary

I would make you come back to Oregon and figure it all out for me! We miss you already! XXOO

  368. Rachael

I would pair it with the Essex Kantha pinstriped Ottoman. I love this informal look, especially when paired with the bright run!

  369. Lo

OMG Emily!! I die for West Elm! I would pair that rug with the Henry Sectional In Granite Microfiber. I just posted about my deep, unrequited love for West Elm.

  370. I loved the rug in the episode and I would adore it in my living room. Since we need a new couch, I am digging the Sutton Sofette in the steel blue. This might be a great bartering chip with the husband "this rug makes our couch look dated (and not in a vintage or retro sort of way)… lets get a new couch". Do you think he would go for it?

  371. Christine

Reading Corner! With the Chester tufted Ieather chair in Pewter-with Chevron and Pompeii BIue bindi piIIowcovers (+ corresponding inserts), the Henry Ottoman in PaisIey iron/fIax, and one or two BooksheIf side tabIes, with Iots of books (naturaIIy arranged by coIor) on the sheIves, and three Hive vases-the tapers and the wide-short in white on top. FiIIed with? one for white daisies, one for antique kitchen gadgets, and one for bookmarks (with some marbIes and toys underneath to heIp them stick out, and for book-distractions).

  372. Heather

    The Elton Sofette. So pretty!

  373. Katie

I would pair ir with the angled leg expandable table in my dining room. I already have great teal and grey brown curtains with just a hint of the yellow in the rug…so it would look fantastic!

  374. Laura

I would put that rug with the carved wood coffee table in a heartbeat! LOVE that rug!

  375. Um hello Chester leather tufted sofa! I would pair it with that!

  376. nole

My husband has been begging for a leather chair for a few years now, so I would pick the Sweep Arm Chair in Honey (http://www.westelm.com/products/sweep-arm-leather-chair-g177/?pkey=cchairs) paired with an Industrial Task Floor Lamp (http://www.westelm.com/products/industrial-task-floor-lamp-w648/?pkey=cfloor-lamps) for reading. My husband isn't crazy about pillows, but I really love the deep blue Indian Bindi pillow cover (http://www.westelm.com/products/handblocked-bindi-pillow-cover-t015/?pkey=call-pillows) and think it would go so nicely with the sunny yellow rug!

  377. Kai

Chester tufted leather chair in pewter!

  378. Marie

  379. MK

I've had my eye on this rug for so long! It's the perfect shade of honey mustard/yellow! I'd pair it with the honeycomb floor cushion cover (and then get a pillow for it). Space in my living room is limited, so floor pillows would add extra seating and great contrast. Love!

  380. MK

  381. Holly G

I would like to pair this beautiful rug with the funky Kilim couch along with the faceted mirror side table and the carved wood coffe table to get a worldy feel!

DAYBEDS, darling. I'd have to pair it with the "Window Daybed!"

  383. kate

Heart beating fast… this rug makes me swoon. I saved up for 2 years to install new bamboo floors in my living room and kitchen and they were just put in on Friday. Guess what? Now I need a rug to go under my sofa. The timing of this post is perfection. I have gray walls and a hodge podge of vintage furniture in shades of walnut brown and cream. Pair all of this with a set of new Allegra Hicks patterned curtains and my room will be complete! Sigh!

  384. Erin

I would pair it with the Walton Ottoman to start :) so many fun thing this rug will go with though!!

  385. Dede Warner

I'd pair it with the Elton chair in granite performance velvet. It would look good in a living room (2 chairs), dining room (four chairs), or bedroom (one chair).

  386. Perry

I lurve this run and it would go freaking great with my color scheme! I would pair it with the carved wood coffee table cuz it's purdy like dat.

  387. Colonal Mustard in the bedroom with the low wood cutout headboard and the chunky knit throw.

  388. Liz Palacios

I very much want to have the Horizon/Ivory Andalusia rug with :
    - the Everett Kantha Chair
    - the Overarching floor lamp

…so I could create an inviting, cozy seating area in my home. :)

  389. cjm

This is what I'd pair with it, or maybe with the grey and white gingham bedding we already own from West Elm

  390. Keturah Bosarge

I would pair it with the Walton sofa or sectional, in dove grey. Yellow and grey really pop together and give a room a sophisticated, yet whimsy loom!

  394. Eva Jenkins

I would choose the white ceramic owls to go with this rug. I love that this rug is playful looking and the owls add a little whimsy as well.

  395. Erin

Ah! I've had my eye on this rug even before you used it in one of your designs! I would pair it with owl table lamp and the hand blocked leaf pillow in my living room…i love how yellow is a pop of color but still a good neutral for me.

  396. Valerie

That rug would look super cute with the Elton Settee.

  399. Danielle

In my bedroom along with West Elm's Scroll headboard that is divine.

  400. liony

Love the color of this rug and I would pair it with the overarching floor lamp.

  401. Melissa

I would put it in my living room with the Essex sofa.

  402. Rachael

Love the rug, but picturing the brown version as yellow clashes with my living room (although the yellow is such a comfortable color!). Going the darker brown route, I would pair it with the glass greenhouse to offset how dark it is. I also like the idea of putting it's more traditional pattern against something unexpected and a little offbeat.

  403. Alyssa Penman

I would love love love to have this rug for my nursery! I'm going with a garden/Peter Rabbit kind of theme, but I still want it to look beautiful and stylish. 404. Laura

If I were to snag this gorgeous Andalusia, it would really brighten up our cozy, nearly-navy blue living room — and fit perfectly with the Stray Dog Side Table (in white). I hope to bring in plenty of pops of white accessories. Cute!

  405. Kelly

I was obsessed with that rug when I saw it on your show! I would love the storage bed frame and 2 industrial stools to use for nightstands… just to name a few.

  406. I would put this bad boy in my living room. I actually blogged it a few months back as an option. And since all I need is a rug and coffee table I would match it with the new industrial coffee table. Come on random.org!!!!

  407. I would pair it with the chauncey chair. I think the colors and patterns play well together :)

  408. Katy B

I would pair the rug with a couple of Kantha Chairs (cause I loves them), the carved wood coffee table, and a "Blake" sofa in ivory. Ahhhh…so nice to dream for awhile. In real life I would pair it with my cheapo sofa from Macys.

    Dear Emily,

  530. Dru Pendleton

This rug is AMAZING!!!! I would pair it with the Ion Glass Round Coffee Table and the Blake sofa in Dove Gray or Chocolate. Either would be a great choice depending on the space. I love that the coffee table top wont hide the beautiful color and pattern on the rug below!

  531. MelissaW

My brother closed this weekend on his dream home, but it needs work and furniture. I'd give the rug to him and if I win the West Elm Dream Big Sweepstakes as well, I'll get him the Chester Tufted Sofa in coffee as well as two Chester Tufted Chairs in coffee. I'd place the Essex Kantha Ottoman in between the two chairs. The stripe in the ottoman will pick up the marigold in the rug. Then I'd place the Ion round coffee table in front of the couch. I think the beige of the ash veneer will connect to the print in the rug. Then I'd make some pillows for the sofa in red, marigold and gray prints, probably some ikat fabric. I'd hang a masculine, large drum pendant in a beige linen over the ottoman.

  532. Jennifer

  542. I would definitely match it up with the Greek Key duvet…or maybe the Mosaic Tile duvet…or maybe the Organic Reflections duvet…or maybe…so many options! I think I need to go shopping now. 561. That rug would add just the right amount of color to my little office area with greys and whites! I've been wanting to switch out that rug to my dining room so this would be the perfect new addition. 579. AMalhotra

i wonder if you can take the morrocan head board and put it on the head and foot of a twin bed and turn it into a day bed and put it in a living room with this rug. If that doesnt work I think the Everett Kantha Chair would pop of the rug too.

  580. TGibbons

The Chester sofa in brown leather looks comfy would look good with rug.

  581. Sarah Huber Hadley

I love that shade of yellow so much! I would pair it with the Owl Lamp which we already have, and possibly also the Carved Wood Coffee Table, which is more baby-friendly than our old Crate & Barrel one which just got banished to the basement. Fantastic show!

  641. Here goes… I'd pair it with the spencer dining table, paint the room white but one wall would be done in the benjamin moore® ben® chalkboard paint in black, and I'd mix up the dining chairs by using two of the modern windsor dining chair in white and four in black. And I'd top the table with the root candelabra. Is that TMRI (too much room information)? I hope not. Thanks!

  642. Ashleigh

Obsessed. I'd do a couple of those cool salvaged wood shelves (I now, I know, you're so over salvaged wood) and some windsor dining chairs. For my eat-in kitchen. Please.

  644. I love, love the yellow. I would love it with the Everett Chair. Keeping my fingers crossed.

  645. SBeach

We LOVED this rug in the episode and sought out West Elm to buy one for ourselves. Unfortunately when we got there we were surprised how rough the material was. It just didn't work for floor-based play with our young son… Darn!

I wish you could say something about the texture when you discuss rugs on the show. Thanks!
